Island Peak is a lofty challenge. Most people fail to reach the summit. Island peak otherwise known as Imja Tse, stands at at 6,189 meters/ 20,305 feet above sea level and is located in the picturesque Imja Valley on the Everest region only a few miles from Mt. Everest. Island peak is one of the most highly sought after peaks in the world. Some people class Island peak as a trekking peak.
