Meet the Funders Panel with: Rocky Mountain Health Foundation & Western Colorado Community Foundation

On Thursday, February 21 from 1:00—2:30 pm join us to hear about funding priorities and grant tips and techniques from the: Rocky Mountain Health Foundation & Western Colorado Community Foundation

Kim Lewis, Grant Manager for the new Rocky Mountain Health Foundation (RMHF) will give an overview of the foundation and how it was created from Rocky Mountain Health Plans. RMHF serves 22 counties on the Western Slope. The Foundation is about community commitment to tackle and solve important issues. Their first grants were awarded early in 2018.

Tedi Gillespie, Grants and Community Outreach Director for The Western Colorado Community Foundation will talk about maximizing success with funders and foundations. The Western Colorado Community Foundation serves a seven county region that includes Delta, Eagle, Garfield, Mesa, Montrose, Ouray and Rio Blanco Counties. It started with engaged citizens, but virtually no funds. They now manage over $60 million in total assets and more than 230 funds with close to $40 million in planned gifts.

Robin Thompson, Executive Director of Philanthropy and Community Outreach for Vail Christian High School, will serve as moderator for the panel discussion.
