Course Description:
A team’s strength lies in the diverse talents, backgrounds, and personalities of its individuals. However, these same factors are often the cause of conflict and misunderstandings in the workplace. Participants will learn how to utilize self-awareness to reveal opportunities for adaptation & strategies to handle the challenges that naturally come with leading or working within a team. Discover the tools and techniques to skillfully navigate these scenarios and unlock the collective power of your team!
Taking the Lead is designed to equip your team with the skills to handle conflict effectively while fostering a culture that encourages open communication and prioritizes positive results. By understanding your team members’ communication styles and motivations, you can identify potential pain points that may lead to conflicts and misunderstandings. Additionally, through the use of the Talent Insights Report and an exploration of Emotional Intelligence, participants will gain insights into their own leadership strengths and opportunities, and the resulting impact on team dynamics.
“Conflict is a good negotiation process…it’s the clash of two ideas, which then, all being well, produces a third idea.” – Luke Roberts, Conflict Resolution Expert
