What is the LQA Program?
The mission of the Lodging Quality Assurance (LQA) Program is to ensure that our lodging partners are provided with information and tools to consistently improve lodging standards, and that visitors to the Vail Valley always experience the finest in accommodations.
The LQA Program has been offered to Vail Valley rental properties since 1999 and has since expanded to the Central Rocky region. The program provides a detailed interior inspection from which the unit is assigned a rating of Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Bronze based on a specific matrix of criteria. The LQA program began with the goal of standardizing the ratings used by properties throughout the Central Rockies to help manage guests’ expectations. Today, the LQA program is used as a guide for lodging partners and owners when upgrading their units.
