The Vail Valley Partnership- the Chamber & Tourism Bureau today announced that it will host the third annual Labor Law Seminar, presented by Sherman & Howard and co-hosted by High Country Human Resources Association, on Thursday, August 11 at the Charter at Beaver Creek from 9:00-11:00 am. The seminar is an educational event which will feature labor and employment attorneys from Sherman & Howard, who will provide their expert opinions on the topic of the “Highs and Lows of Staffing Management.”

The three Sherman & Howard attorneys at the seminar will include; Sarah Peace, Patrick Scully and William Wright, all of whom have a long background in the field of labor and employment. The three professionals will discuss a variety of legal issues arising during the recruiting and maintaining of staff, including the status of language requirements, paying non-exempt trainers from out-of-state, issues with worker compensation, disability-related work restrictions and post-offer medical examinations.

This event, which is free and open to members of both Vail Valley Partnership and High Country Human Resources Association, is a wonderful opportunity for businesses throughout Vail Valley to receive expert opinions in the area of staffing. The seminar also includes a continental breakfast for attendees.
