Be a part of the story! The Bookworm of Edwards seeks a book-loving community member to take over as our Marketing Manager. This position is a hybrid of administrative duties and retail bookselling. The ideal candidate is responsible for coordinating the marketing efforts and providing administrative support to all members of the team, from book sellers to cafe staff, from buyers and marketing team members to the owner.

Responsibilities:
• Learn and understand event and marketing programs
• Offer constructive feedback to coworkers, managers and the team as a whole
• Contribute to event development and coordination
• Manage co-operative advertising
• Administer advertising contracts
• Design all collateral material
• Provide art direction for special projects

• Sound understanding of design
• Natural marketing and advertising skill set
• Literate in budgeting concepts
• Resourceful and creative
• Detail oriented
• Self motivated, problem solver
• Able to balance multiple tasks and timelines
• Excellent organizational skills
• Scheduling flexibility

• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills

Expected Time Commitment: Full or part time candidates may apply. The job entails 10-15 hours per week of marketing administration, plus 8-25 hours of retail bookselling. We will customize a schedule for the best candidate.
