We constantly strive for progressive leaders to fill the role of Area Managing Director in our organization. We currently operate in the Breckenridge, Steamboat, and Vail areas.

As an Area Managing Director for Coldwell Banker Distinctive Properties, you will use skill, experience, and good judgment to assemble a plan of activities and systems necessary to accomplish the objectives of the organization, working closely with the Regional Vice President.

  • Agent Communications and Development: Initiate, encourage, and maintain regular and open communication with salespeople to positively promote the features/benefits of Company programs and services, as well as to develop Business Plans that will lead to the accomplishment of the salesperson’s goals.
  • Provide the Regional Vice President with the necessary information to report to the COO regarding the results and Goal Progress for the region.
  • Holds monthly Business Meeting Presentations for the staff and agents.
  • Create a travel schedule for the offices in the region.
  • Responsible for hiring, supervising and monitoring the performance of the office personnel.
  • Recruits additional associates and implements campaigns to discover candidates for affiliation with the Company.
  • Periodically shall be assigned projects to be performed on behalf of the Company. The projects will have clear objectives, and specific, measurable performance criteria.


Who you are and what you’ve accomplished:

  • You have at least 5-10 years of recent experience in sales, business development, and people partnership management. In addition to Talent Acquisition, Real Estate, Leadership Training, Coaching and or/mentoring teams.
  • You are a self-starter, have strong leadership, negotiating, and influencing skills, and have been managing success through a team for at least 2 years.
  • You are outgoing, charismatic, love people, and building relationships
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are able to establish a consistent plan of action with results to grow people.
  • You have outstanding communication skills and are able to articulate your vision, strategy, ideas, and decisions clearly and succinctly
  • You have a willingness to understand, leverage, and build the numbers with analysis to create opportunities and maximize conversations on all your connections as you build your team.
  • You have used a CRM, or some form of tracking, to manage contacts.
  • You know how to build a business plan and train and support others to achieve their goals.
  • You possess local knowledge and an extensive network to connect with as you build your team.
