Learn How To Help An Adolescent (Age 12-18) Who Is Experiencing A Mental Health Or Addictions Challenge Or Is In Crisis.

Youth Mental Health First Aid is designed to teach parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, school staff, peers, neighbors, health and human services workers, and other caring citizens how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or is in crisis. Youth Mental Health First Aid is primarily designed for adults who regularly interact with young people.

Once registered, participants will receive an email from the National Council/Algee (Mental Health First Aid) with pre-course work (self-paced and required to be completed by Sunday, June 13th). Lunch will be provided.

SpeakUp ReachOut is able to provide this course for free to participants via a grant specifically aimed towards training residents in Eagle County, Colorado in suicide prevention. As a result, we must first offer this course to Eagle County residents.

This training is made possible by Eagle Valley Behavioral Health.
