Make suicide prevention a health and safety priority at work. Approximately 80% of all people who die by suicide are of working age (18-65) making the workplace the most cross-cutting system for suicide prevention, intervention and crisis response. Workplace suicide prevention is more than just offering an EAP, learn what your organization can do to be on the cutting edge.

Agenda:

  • 9:00am – 11:30am- Roll out of the NEW National Guidelines for Workplace Suicide Prevention
  • 11:30am – 12:30pm – Networking lunch provided
  • 12:30pm – 3:00pm – Working Minds Training Session – this training gives participants the tools and skills to appreciate the critical need for suicide prevention while creating a forum for dialogue and critical thinking about workplace mental health challenges. The program builds a business case for suicide prevention while promoting help-seeking and help-giving.
