By now everyone knows what an elevator pitch is: a concise explanation about the organization you work or volunteer for, or are a member of the board. What happens when someone wants to go beyond the elevator pitch? What engages volunteers or board members? Why would they want to work with, or even donate to, your organization?
Join Eagle River Youth Coalition for a story-telling workshop to help with fundraising, recruiting volunteers, writing relevant thank you notes and general marketing. What compels you? Find a way to put into words what makes your organization special and more importantly how someone on the outside can connect with your work.
This special workshop will help you come up with your story through role playing, writing exercises, honing your involvement story and a variety of ways to draw your information out.
