Join the Western Slope Rural Philanthropy Days (WS RPD) Interim Committee for the Strategic Planning Symposium in Edwards.

WS RPD is a coalition of regional nonprofit leaders who have joined together to bring nonprofit education opportunities to the region. Learn more about the five-part symposium series here.

The Strategic Planning Symposium will provide an opportunity for service providers to network, share and collaborate around various elements of strategic planning. 

Choose from 2 workshops and learn tangible skills for implementation. With varying levels of content, we hope that there will be something for everybody, whether you are new to the nonprofit sector or have several years of experience implementing a strategic plan.

Strategic Planning Symposium Sessions:

  • Principles of Strategic Planning (Introductory): Learn about a streamlined strategic planning process and walk away with greater clarity on mission, goals and opportunities. This workshop will help you to gain insight into why strategic thinking and planning matters in achieving your mission.
  • Implementation: From Plan to Reality (Advanced): Achieving strategic goals takes more than good intentions. This workshop highlights techniques and tools that organizations can use to develop realistic implementation plans and increase the likelihood of achieving each of their strategic goals.
