The STARS (Support The Arts Reaching Students) series of performances is offered to promote artistic, educational and cultural enrichment to local students with daytime shows at the theatre. Each year, the Vail Valley Foundation and Vilar Performing Arts Center provide free tickets to more than 6,000 Eagle County students to bring them the thrill of live performing arts.

The hottest jazz orchestra of Russia and one of the best in the world, Igor Butman and the Moscow Jazz Orchestra was founded by world-famous saxophone player Igor Butman, who enjoys one of the most successful and flamboyant careers in the history of modern jazz.  The band has frequently toured Russia, Europe, India, and the USA, and has appeared at the world’s most prestigious jazz venues, including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, “Birdland” and others. They’ve drawn praise from the most respected jazz magazines, including Downbeat and Jazzwise.
