Munich comes to the Vail for two full weekends of blown-out Bavarian fun emulating the world’s greatest celebration of beer, music and autumn: Oktoberfest.

Vail Oktoberfest™ is a family affair, with events and activities for both adults and kids alike. The event is free and open to the public. This year, guests will see the return of many crowd favorites like Klement’s Bratwurst Eating Contests, Stein Lifting and Keg Bowling. Guests will also be delighted with Bavarian music and dancing, yodeling, alpenhorn blowing, authentic Bavarian food and beverages including Klement’s bratwursts, pretzels, beverages from Hacker-Pschorr and Jägermeister and much more.

Vail Oktoberfest™ kicks off at 12 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9 in Lionshead with a new FAC (Friday Afternoon Club) – oom-pah style and will be followed by the Ceremonial Hacker-Pschorr Keg tapping event, officially marking the start of Oktoberfest in Vail.
