The Vail Jazz Foundation produces the 12-week long Vail Jazz Festival which will include 40 performances in Vail. These events, some free and some ticketed, feature today’s top jazz artists in indoor and outdoor venues throughout town.
Each year, up-and-coming “young lions” play alongside the living legends of jazz in an intimate venue, surrounded by the natural beauty of Vail. With twenty five hours of performances throughout the event, the audience and musicians are connected in a manner that consistently inspires great performances.

Jazz @ The Market
June 28th – August 30th | Sundays, noon-3 pm
Vail Jazz presents ten FREE outdoor concerts featuring local and regionally-based jazz talent at the Vail Farmers’ Market and Art Show. The jazz concerts are a natural complement to the fabulous shopping and wonderful food for which the casual outdoor market is known.

Vail Jazz’s partnership with Kelly Liken brings jazz to Vail every Sunday night! Paired with Kelly Liken’s Harvest menu, join local jazz great Tony Gulizia and a different guest artist each week for exciting jazz performances.
Jazz @ Vail Square
July 2nd – September 3rd | Thursdays, 6-8 pm
Hosted at the epicenter of Lionshead Village’s bustling summer scene, Jazz @ Vail Square brings a high-energy lineup of jazz heavyweights to Vail’s new hotspot for culture and entertainment. With a cold beverage and unbeatable views, this series has quickly become the Thursday night event of Vail’s summer music scene!
Vail Jazz Club Series
July 8th – 29th | Wednesdays, 8 pm
Take your favorite NYC jazz club, add the rustic Rocky Mountain charm of Cucina at the Lodge at Vail, and you’ve got the Vail Jazz Club Series (formerly Jazz After). With a larger venue and more dates in 2015, this incredibly popular late night series combines unmatched intimacy, spectacular dining and stunning entertainment.

The Vail Jazz Festival culminates over Labor Day Weekend with a unique mix of world-class musicians in a one of a kind format that has lived up to its title, the Vail Jazz Party.
