The Vail America Days fireworks show will light up the Vail skies on  July 4 starting at 9:45pm, weather/conditions permitting. The 10-minute show will celebrate Independence Day and pays tribute to this year’s theme Stronger Together.

They are offering a variety of options for viewing this year’s show as part of the commitment to the Eagle County public health order.

The Town of Vail asks that everyone protect the surrounding national forest and are reminded that the use of personal fireworks is prohibited.

Watch from your neighborhood

Fireworks will be visible from the following neighborhoods around Vail so stay close to home and enjoy the show.

  • Sandstone
  • Spraddle Creek
  • Buffehr Creek (upper neighborhood)

Watch from your hotel, condo or home

Check with your concierge, front desk or property manager on the best viewing options.

Capacity controlled viewing areas

These select areas will open at 8:30pm and be capacity monitored through designated entry/exit points. Please be aware these areas will fill quickly so plan accordingly and be prepared for alternative viewing options.

  • Lionshead lawn
  • Mountain Plaza lawn
  • Base of Golden Peak

Remember to practice safe social distancing for all viewing areas around town!

Drive up options

Enjoy the fireworks in Vail from your car by utilizing temporary parking areas.

  • Ford Park parking lot
  • Parking structures in Vail Village and Lionshead
  • Frontage Roads

As a reminder, DO NOT PARK/STOP/WATCH FIREWORKS ON 1-70. Colorado State Patrol and the Vail Police Department will be enforcing laws in this area.
