Valley View University (VVU), free educational webinars hosted by Valley View, is dedicated to providing the community with engaging and personalized medical education with its world-class physicians. On Wednesday, June 2, ValleyOrtho Orthopedic Surgeon Chris George, MD will present “Treating Joint Pain with Cartilage Preservation and Restoration Procedures,” a virtual discussion via Zoom.

When cartilage that protects a bone is injured or damaged, it can cause significant pain and stiffness. Cartilage restoration and preservation procedures may be a good option for those who have cartilage damage but are active and looking to prevent or delay joint replacement. In this 20-minute discussion, followed by an open Q&A, Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. George will discuss several procedures to help preserve or restore cartilage and keep you enjoying your active lifestyle longer.

Dr. George has been providing orthopedic care to patients in the Roaring Fork Valley since 2013. He specializes in sports medicine, hip arthroscopy, anterior muscle sparing total hip replacement, and knee reconstruction and replacement. With minimally invasive and arthroscopic treatment options, Dr. George strives to return patients to the lifestyle and activities they desire.
