While Pink Vail will look different this year because of the ongoing presence of COVID-19, we are excited to share the undeniable Pink Vail spirit during this 10th anniversary event.
100% of Pink Vail donations and registration fees benefit all patients at Vail Health Shaw Cancer Center through enhancements to patient care and patient programming. All Shaw patients, whether male or female, no matter their cancer diagnosis, have the opportunity to benefit from Pink Vail funds throughout their cancer treatment experience and beyond.
For nine years, Pink Vail, the world’s biggest ski day to conquer cancer, has provided locals, cancer survivors, staff and visitors from around the world the opportunity to raise funds for Vail Health Shaw Cancer Center while commemorating a loved one or their own battle with cancer. We are proud of the incredible growth the event has experienced during the past decade, well beyond what we had envisioned. During the past nine years Pink Vail has raised more than $5 million to ensure complimentary programming for our cancer patients for years to come.
Pink Vail is underwritten by Vail Health and our partners, which means donations are fully dedicated to ensuring every local cancer patient has access to unique services that can dramatically impact a patient’s quality of life, but are not typically covered by insurance.
All fundraising by participants and teams from Pink Vail 2020 have been rolled over into fundraising efforts for Pink Vail 2021. That means all participants who registered for Pink Vail 2020 have been automatically registered for Pink Vail 2021. Also, any funds raised from Pink Vail 2020 are now counted towards Pink Vail 2021 tally. All participants have maintained their fundraising status.
