Overcoming Obstacles: A Guide to Collaborative Parenting

Overcoming Obstacles: A Guide to Collaborative Parenting

This 3-hour seminar, focusing on parenting through divorce, is offered twice monthly.  The class fulfills the requirement set forth by the 5th Judicial District. The curriculum’s goal is to:
1) Develop healthy, positive communication skills,
2) Develop healthy dispute resolution skills,
3) Increase ability to engage in collaborative parenting strategies,
4) Increase understanding of how behavior, communication, and conflict affects children, and
5) Increase understanding of the impact of divorce, family restructuring, and judicial proceedings on children.
