Overcoming Obstacles: A Guide to Collaborative Parenting

and Thursday, October 20 at 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

The administrative offices of Bright Future Foundation located above Agave in the Westgate Building. Address is 1060 W. Beaver Creek Blvd., Suite 201, Avon, CO.

This 3-hour seminar, focusing on parenting through divorce, is offered twice monthly. The class fulfills the requirement set forth by the 5th Judicial District. Cost per person is $85 and can be paid by cash, check or credit card.

The curriculum’s goal is to:
1) Develop healthy, positive communication skills,
2) Develop healthy dispute resolution skills,
3) Increase ability to engage in collaborative parenting strategies,
4) Increase understanding of how behavior, communication, and conflict affects children, and
5) Increase understanding of the impact of divorce, family restructuring, and judicial proceedings on children.
