Octoberfest on the Mountain with Alpine Echo

Grab your dirndls and lederhosen and head to the top of the mountain for Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park’s Octoberfest! From noon to 4 p.m., oompah band Alpine Echo will bring out your Octoberfest spirit with Bavarian pub songs and everyone’s favorite from the Sound of Music – Edelweiss. NEW this year, there will be a beer garden set up in The Fort with grilled brats and delicious beer options. Also enjoy popcorn, roasted nuts, sauerkraut and pretzels. While you indulge, kick back and watch a stein-holding contest and keg bowling!

From noon to 6 p.m., enjoy tractor-driven hayrides, pumpkin decorating, face painting for kids and fall-themed games like Witch Hat Ring Toss, Pumpkin Tic-Tac-Toe and a Gourd Toss!

All month long in October enjoy the changing foliage, leaf peeping, food and drink specials including delicious German beer, brats, sauerkraut, pretzels, pumpkin fudge, fudge-covered apples, spiked apple cider and fun, fall drinks for kids, and of course all of our rides and attractions. Pick a pumpkin from their pumpkin patch for just $3!
