Minturn Town Cleanup Day

Minturn Town Clean-up will take place Saturday, June 3rd, from 7am – 12noon.

This is an opportunity to recycle unwanted electronics, yard debris, and discard those messy items laying around that annoy your neighbors. More information, including accepted and non-accepted items, e-waste pricing, and more – can be found HERE.  Please note – No more than one truckload from any household this year to allow room for everyone.   

We will again be including an LED lightbulb swap this year, so bring in your incandescent bulbs and swap them for free LEDs (while supplies last).

AND – again this year, participants will receive a free gifts (while supplies last), of a home energy conservation kit (courtesy of Xcel Energy’s Partners in Energy).

Senior Pickups – Seniors that would like a cleanup day pickup at their residence must call ahead.  Please call Cindy Krieg to get on the list.  970-445-2415, or email events@minturn.org.  Please be sure to contact us no later than noon on Wednesday, June 1st.  This service is available for SENIORS ONLY, and only accepted items can be picked up.  We will need your name, address, phone number, AND a list of items that you need picked up.  Limits apply.

Volunteer Opportunities

DO YOU ENJOY WALKING THE RAILROAD TRACKS?  COME HELP US CLEAN THEM UP!

Take pride in your community and help clean up. Bring a team or ask a friend. The town is seeking volunteers for cleaning up high-use areas throughout town on cleanup day. If you can help for an hour or two, it can make all the difference!  Contact Cindy for additional information at: events@minturn.org or 970-445-2415.  Areas needing help including Little Beach Park (park and playground area), the railroad tracks, and several other areas.
