Meet and Greet with Scott Johnston

Meet author Scott Johnston from 11am-1pm in the Bookworm cafe. Johnston will be signing copies of Campusland, his satirical debut novel.

Campusland is set on the picturesque grounds of Devon University, a fictional Ivy League institution. It follows the life and tribulations of a popular English professor and two of his bored and attention hungry students. Excerpts from the campus newspaper documenting mishaps at Devon serve as an amusing sidebar as Johnston brings these characters together for a comedy that will entertain readers even as they wonder if there is any truth to the extreme political correctness that paralyzes Devon.

Johnston grew up in Manhattan, worked on Wall Street and did a stint in Hong Kong. On the side, he opened a couple of nightclubs in New York City and wrote popular books on beer drinking and golf betting games. More recently, Johnston shifted gears and co-founded two tech startups. He lives in Westchester with his wife and three children.
