Bravo! Vail’s Spring Family Concert Series returns to the valley! Opera Colorado’s production of Hansel & Gretel shares the magic of storytelling and opera with the next generation of music lovers. Follow the trail of breadcrumbs to the beloved fairytale Hansel & Gretel. Stranded in the Magic Forest, things look “Grimm” indeed for Gretel and her brother Hansel. What follows is an enchanted odyssey through a magical forest and a house made of gingerbread. The pair encounters everything from a magical Sandman to a witch with a sweet tooth who really likes kids… well done, that is!

Performance | 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Instrument Petting Zoo | 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Sung in English and staged with full costumes and set design, this performance will engage and delight audiences age 6 and up.

Following each performance will be a Q&A session with the audience and an ‘Instrument Petting Zoo’ where children can experiment with real orchestral instruments and create fun musical-themed arts & crafts.
