Event date: This event has already passed.

5:30pm- 6:30pm

E-Town in Edwards

Did your grandmother or parents tell you, “You are what you eat”? The truth is, you are what you digest and absorb. Do you “eat right”, or at least try to? Do you buy the best food you can and wonder if it’s worth it?

Whether you want to learn about getting the most out of the food you eat or have digestive issues, this class is for you. We’ll focus on the basics of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract – what it is, how it works, how to know if something is wrong, and how to keep it healthy. We’ll also talk about the microbiome – what it is and why you should care.

A healthy GI tract and microbiome are being linked to many diseases and health conditions. Come learn how to take care of yours.

Hosted by nutrition expert Penny L. Wilson, PhD, RDN, CSSD, LD

This talk is free. We do ask you to register for planning purposes.
