Vail Health and Eagle River Youth Coalition are teaming for more education, communication and community-building with the well-established Eat Chat Parent series. The over-arching theme for this year’s Eat Chat Parent family and community education series will focus on mental health topics.

Eat Chat Parent kicks off October 2 and 3 when Dr. Lisa Strohman, who comes from Arizona, discusses technology overuse by youth. Dr. Lisa Strohman is a clinical psychologist, attorney, co-author of Unplug and founder and director of The Digital Citizen Academy. Her focus is on proactively preventing and reducing the issues students, educators and parents face as a result of technology use—and overuse.

This is a free event with free childcare, free dinner and translation. Appropriate for children fifth grade and older. RSVP: cjohnson@eagleyouth.org
