Event date: This event has already passed.

5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Eagle Valley High School

You’re invited to join us for the free Eat Chat Parent behavioral health discussion on March 3 and 4, “What Are Your Children Watching.” This talk is appropriate for children ages 10 and older to attend with an adult and/or trusted adult.

There’s an ever-growing list of ways that kids can entertain themselves in our amazingly diverse media landscape. Our speaker, Dr. Schlozman, will focus on the changes to child and adolescent entertainment during this digital age, how these changes alter past recommendations about media exposure, and how you can talk to your children about how they (and you!) can remain media savvy, while maintaining your child’s sense of independence and your family’s core values.

We are thrilled for Dr. Steven Schlozman to join us again for this important and daily topic we are faced with. Dr. Schlozman will help participants understand what their kids are watching, discussing TV shows, online videos and programming, social media, digital safety and how that relates to the teenage brain and behavioral health.
