Collaboration. Gathering. Communication. Red Ribbon Project (RRP) and Eagle River Youth Coalition (ERYC) create a better community for all by working together. For the first time, RRP and ERYC are teaming up for a fundraiser to share in successes, celebrate work and, together, create a positive future.

Past fundraising efforts have allowed both organizations to grow and positively influence youth. In 2018, ERYC more than doubled its parent involvement, engaging with almost 1,500 caregivers, parents and youth for our Eat Chat Parent events and 41 Youth Leader Council participants, who changed policy, gave informed opinions and enacted change. Working together, RRP and ERYC educated 4,568 youth in grades five through twelve during in-school prevention programs. We have increased the number of hours spent with children, helping create a positive, safe place for open dialog related to sensitive youth issues. Additionally, RRP offers free HIV testing to more than 110 people annually.

As you can see, together we are stronger; we don’t duplicate services and we remain committed to providing high-quality services while being fiscally responsible. We are able to offer our programs free, thanks to our generous community.
