Eagle County Gives Rally

Join the Eagle County Gives Collaborative on December 9th at 4:30pm for tequila and tortilla chips to rally and generate awareness of Colorado Gives Day! The first 100 drinks are free and have been generously donated by Maya. All attendees can vote for their favorite Eagle County Gives nonprofit to be entered for a chance to win. Four nonprofits will be selected that night to win $250 for their nonprofits based on your votes.

Colorado Gives Day is an annual statewide movement to celebrate and increase philanthropy in Colorado through online giving. The more than 50 local, participating Eagle County nonprofits can be viewed at EagleCoGives.org. The website provides comprehensive, up-to-date information and an easy way to support nonprofits online. Donations can be scheduled online starting on November 1, 2019.

County Commissioner, Matt Scherr, will say a few words about the importance of Colorado Gives Day and Vail Valley Partnership President and CEO, Chris Romer, will talk about the value non-profits bring to Eagle County.

A big thank you goes to Maya for being a generous supporter of the Rally and Eagle County Gives through Table 101. We are also grateful to the Community First Foundation and FirstBank for presenting Colorado Gives Day and offering a $1 million Incentive Fund. The event is one the most successful “gives days” in the nation. Last year, $34 million was raised statewide and over $1.1 million went to Eagle County nonprofits in just 24 hours.
