SpeakUp ReachOut presents safe storage as a suicide prevention method.

Temporarily removing access to lethal means from someone in suicidal crisis greatly reduces the likelihood of that person dying by suicide because it gives at-risk individuals something they crucially need – time.

This program will educate firearm owners on the importance of safe storage when someone is in crisis. It will be presented by:

  • Lisa Proulx, SpeakUp ReachOut Firearm Advocate
  • Erin Ivie, SpeakUp ReachOut Executive Director

Community Conversation for Firearm Owners is FREE and open to firearm owners who are 16+ years old.
