Gather with friends, neighbors and medical professionals in a conversation about an inescapable reality of life and learn how to have these conversations prior to a medical crisis. Free Film Screening
Join us for a screening of the PBS Frontline film “Being Mortal,” based on the best-selling book by surgeon Atul Gawande. Follow Dr. Gawande as he explores end-of-life conversations among doctors, patients and their families. Following the film, participate in a discussion with local experts concerning the issues people may face at the end-of-life and how to have conversations that matter most about our wishes. Limited complimentary copies of Being Mortal will also be available to participants.
