If you are looking to counter poverty or its impact on people and businesses in your community, Bridges Out of Poverty solutions give you the structures, ideas, and concrete tools a community needs to prevent, reduce, and alleviate poverty. Bridges Out of Poverty is a book and an approach that helps employers, community organizations, social-service agencies, and individuals address poverty in a comprehensive way. People from all economic classes come together to improve job retention rates, build resources, improve outcomes, and support those who are moving out of poverty.
This overview session will cover the key concepts of Bridges Out of Poverty and is geared toward all audiences. This is a great opportunity for those who have heard of Bridges Out of Poverty but have not yet had the chance to participate in training or who would like a refresher. The objective of this overview is to provide information to front line workers, management and community members so that dialogue can begin about how each of us can impact poverty in our daily work, organizations and community.
