On Wednesday, August 17, Valley View radiologist William Weathers, MD, and Valley View mammographer Becky Williamson will present “Five Mammogram Myths” during a virtual session via Zoom.

There are many myths and misconceptions surrounding breast imaging. In this 20-minute webinar, followed by an open Q&A, Dr. Weathers and Williamson will discuss the truth about mammograms, including cancer detection, the real dosage of radiation in mammograms, improvements in comfort, and the difference between 3-D mammograms and traditional mammograms. This webinar is for women at any stage of life who want to learn more about breast health.

Dr. Weathers is an experienced radiologist who has been with Mountain Radiology and Valley View for over four years. He has published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles.
