Vail Dance Festival | Now: Premieres
Event date: August 8

The Festival fosters unique collaborations between artists of various dance genres to push the boundaries of the art form, further cementing Vail as a major incubator for new choreography. This summer, we celebrate the 100th world premiere commission under Damian Woetzel’s visionary leadership since becoming Artistic Director in 2006. Choreographers this year include Ephrat Asherie, Jodi Melnick, Justin Peck, Caili Quan, Claudia Schreier, Bobbi Jene Smith, and Pam Tanowitz.
MORE INFORMATION ON WORLD PREMIERES:
