Colorado’s sales tax rules create immense challenges for local businesses; SB006 and SB130 are designed to help local businesses and create a state database to make Colorado more business friendly.
Colorado needs to find a way to simplify the sales tax system for the retail business community and realizing the business community’s desire for a statewide database that includes reliable GIS information and a single point of remittance and licensure that eases some of the burden on business due to the extreme complexity of the sales tax system.
