New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players: I’ve Got a Little Twist

BEAVER CREEK, CO: The Vilar Performing Arts Center (VPAC) invites Broadway lovers to see the New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players: I’ve Got A Little Twist on Monday, January 26 at 7:30 PM. A one-of-a-kind show that proves the Gilbert & Sullivan repertoire is as fun, fresh, and full-of-life as ever! Witness the New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players celebrate the legacy of Gilbert & Sullivan in American musical theater. Life is a cabaret and so is this show—and as we all know, it’s always more entertaining when you add a little twist. The VPAC is located under the ice rink in Beaver Creek Village (68 Avondale Lane, Beaver Creek, Colorado).

This is where The Mikado meets The Music Man. Where the HMS Pinafore sets sail for Brigadoon. And The Pirates of Penzance take shore leave On the Town. This unique and humorous presentation showcases Gilbert & Sullivan classics and proves that their music is Broadway legend. In addition to G&S favorites, I’ve Got A Little Twist presents popular Broadway showtunes from Rodgers & Hammerstein, Bernstein, Sondheim, Lerner & Loewe, Meredith Willson, and Jerry Herman.

Under the supervision of Artistic Director Albert Bergeret, I’ve Got a Little Twist is written and directed by David Auxier and features Daniel Greenwood, Sarah Caldwell Smith, Stephen Quint, Angela Smith, David Wannen and Mr. Auxier. Mark York is the arranger, musical director and accompanist.
