The Vail Summer Bluegrass Series, one of Vail’s newest summer concert offerings, rolls on after a four week break. Picking up right where it left off, Vail Bluegrass welcomes GRAMMY nominee, Sarah Jarosz for a special “Evening with…” performance on August 13.
Sarah, joined by cellist Nathaniel Smith and fiddler Alex Hargreaves, will deliver a two-set performance with no opener, a slight variation from the Series’ first two performances. Closing the series on August 27 is Colorado’s own Drew Emmitt Band (of Leftover Salmon) performing with Telluride Bluegrass Festival band competition winners, Trout Steak Revival.
While the Vail Summer Bluegrass Series is free to attend, the promoter has made 30 tickets available per show for those looking to purchase a premium seat and table. These tickets may be purchased at www.vailbluegrass.com for $25. Due to high demand, additional seating has been made available for the Sarah Jarosz performance only, for $15.
