Introducing Career+

Building Eagle County’s Workforce Through Adult Apprenticeships

Career+ is an Adult Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) designed to strengthen Eagle County’s workforce by developing in-demand, industry-specific skills. This innovative program empowers local businesses to take an active role in shaping talent pipelines through customized training plans and real-world mentorship.

As a sponsor Vail Valley Works will collaborate directly with local employers to design, register, and implement apprenticeship programs aligned with the needs of our community. These programs are approved through the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment and are backed by Federal ABA Grant funding — ensuring quality standards and long-term impact.

Why Partner with Career+?

  • Develop a Skilled Talent Pipeline: Build a workforce that meets your company’s needs—now and in the future.
  • Access Incentive Funding: Eligible businesses may apply for financial support to offset training and implementation costs. Coming Soon: learn more about available funding opportunities and how to apply.
  • Strengthen Community and Industry: Help address critical labor gaps in Eagle County while enhancing local economic vitality.
