The Friends of Vail Public Library will be sponsoring its annual Fourth of July Book Sale beginning Thursday July 4 and running through Sunday July 7. Come peruse our diverse selection of books, DVDs and CDs in Vail Public Library’s Community Room. On July 4, the sale will be open from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Beginning Friday July 5 through Sunday July 7, the book sale will be open from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the Friends of Vail Public Library.
Want to contribute? We are seeking volunteers and donations for this event. Volunteers will be needed for set up as well as to work the sale. We are also looking for donations of books, DVDs and CDs. Donations may be dropped off at the library during normal business hours Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Friday through Sunday 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Please remember that your donation is tax deductible; just ask for a receipt for your taxes when dropping materials off.
Don’t forget to also join us on Thursday July 4, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. in front of the library, when we will be sponsoring our annual Fourth of July Bake Sale which is a fund raising effort that directly benefits children’s programs at the Town of Vail Public Library. Please join staff and Friends of the Library in baking yummy treats for us to sell at the bake sale. Homemade cookies, breads and muffins are always the most popular items in our sale.
The staff and Friends of Vail Public Library look forward to seeing you at their Annual Fourth of July Book and Bake Sale!
