EDWARDS, Colo. (February 23, 2023) – Longtime Vail Valley resident and veteran real estate broker Kira Taylor has been promoted to managing broker for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Colorado Properties’ Edwards office. The addition of Taylor grows the company’s team of managing brokers to six, joining Craig Denton (Vail Village office), Timm Kluender (Vail-Lionshead), Rick Messmer (Eagle), Laurie Slaughter (Gypsum) and Marla Hillerich (Beaver Creek).
Taylor brings over 22 years of combined experience in real estate, hospitality, and management, including positions with Title Company of the Rockies, Kessler Collection in Beaver Creek, Kimpton Hotels, Vail Resorts, and most recently, as the managing director for Coldwell Banker Distinctive Properties in Vail.
In addition to her managing broker role, Taylor also currently serves as the chair for the Vail MLS, where she shares her experience and knowledge in title insurance and stays current on industry trends relating to the purchase and sale of homes.

A Colorado native and 25-year resident of the Vail Valley, Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in commercial recreation and tourism from Colorado State University.
