From 9am-2pm this Saturday the Minturn Market will be celebrating the peach season in style. Vendors will be showing off their “peachy” items and peach sampling will be in full swing.
“Grandma Tony” from Austin Family Farms will host the free canning demonstration which will feature how to can peaches. Tony Austin is also excited for this Saturday’s event since their family farm will have “about 5-6 different varieties of peaches” available for sale.
The Minturn Market has numerous vendors with items from fresh breads, homemade jams, artwork, clothing, baskets, veggies & jewelry.
This week’s free live music will be performed by Vail local, Kevin Danzig in the Gallegos Tent from 12pm-2pm. Kevin Danzig writes and performs modern folk and acoustic rock tunes as well as selected cover songs, accompanied by acoustic guitar, ukulele, and harmonica; He plays tambourine with his foot. Originality is Danzig’s hallmark; Kevin’s lyrics are invariably intelligent, the instrumental arrangements are in perfect sync and skillfully executed.
