Orthopedic Hand Surgeon Michael Potter, MD of ValleyOrtho is pleased to present “Preventing Hand and Wrist Injuries During the Winter Season,” a virtual discussion via Zoom, on Wednesday, Nov. 3. The presentation is part of Valley View University (VVU), a series of free educational webinars hosted by Valley View.
With the return of snow and ice comes the slips and falls that put people at risk for wrist and hand fractures. In this 20-minute discussion, followed by open Q&A, Dr. Potter will review common hand and wrist injuries and give tips to prevent them so the community can continue to enjoy all the winter activities that they love.
Dr. Potter is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic hand surgeon, and provides specialty care of all conditions of the hand and upper extremity, including trauma and problems of the wrist and elbow. As a member of the ValleyOrtho team, he also provides on-call care for lower extremity trauma and general orthopedic issues.
