Molasses Stack Cake Making – Willa Cather Event

Join Vail Public Library for another event celebrating Willa Cather! Pastry chef, Heather Romero, from Rimini Gelato located in Lionshead Village, will teach participants how to make an old fashioned Molasses Stack Cake. Molasses Stack Cakes were primarily made for gatherings or weddings in pioneer times, the period of history when Willa Cather’s stories take place. Ingredients and tools will be provided – just come and have fun!
