Please join other Eagle Valley Seniors from around the county at Vail Public Library (VPL) in the Community Room for Edible Volunteer Garden Weeds. Plants that grow in our gardens without being planted are often termed weeds, but sometimes they are lightly called volunteers. Learn about plants that serve as edible and medicinal garden volunteers here in Eagle County. Five native and non-native plants, namely amaranth, lambs-quarters, purslane, red clover and dandelion will be discussed. The session includes recipes, and perhaps a few samples!
