40th Anniversary Community Picnic

Mark your calendar for the Town of Avon’s 40th Anniversary Community Picnic on Thursday, September 13th in Harry A. Nottingham Park. The community picnic will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with free food and drink provided by the Town on a first-come, first-served basis. The picnic provides community members with an opportunity to offer comments and suggestions about various topics and to meet members of the Avon Town Council and town staff. Live music will be provided by Frisco Funk Collective.

During the event, picnickers will be encouraged to learn more about the Town-Owned Properties Plan, development of New Town Hall, wildfire preparedness, and future plans for park expansion, in addition to other Town initiatives.
