Cordillera’s Sounds of Summer Concert Series kicks off Friday, July 13 from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at Bearcat Stables with Colorado Springs-based soul, R&B and pop band, Tiny Barge and The Big Chill.

Admission is free and the concert is open to the public. Bring your friends, family and love of music and prepare for an evening of fantastic tunes that’ll get you dancing.

Rocky Mountain Taco Truck will be providing authentic Mexican cuisine and beverages will be available for sale at Bearcat Stables. Please leave your coolers and dogs at home.

 

About the band:

Singer-songwriter Tiny Barge formed his band, Tiny Barge and The Big Chill in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1986. The band quickly rose to be the foremost act in Southern Colorado and was a cornerstone for what became known as Rocky Mountain Soul Music.

For over 20 years they were a fixture as the house band at the nationally acclaimed music festivals Country Jam USA and Country Thunder USA. Tiny and the band has headlined and shared stages with many of the great names in Rock, Soul and Country music. As a songwriter, Tiny’s credits include, Gladys Knight and The Pips, Maxine Nightingale, Les McCann, Creme D Cocoa, Sandra Feva and The Fabulous Hubcaps. Seasoned veterans of everything from concerts, music festivals, night clubs, casinos and corporate events, Tiny Barge & The Big Chill has continued to be one of the region’s most well-known and in-demand bands performing R&B, Soul, Pop and Oldies and original music.
