  • Eagle Valley Land Trust named as Finalist by Land Trust Alliance, needs votes to win $10,000 Grand Prize

EDWARDS (OCTOBER 23, 2017) – Eagle Valley Land Trust (EVLT) has just been announced as one of 10 finalists for Land Trust Alliance’s #LandisMy video contest. The winner, selected by popular vote, will receive $10,000 to support land conservation efforts in their community.

EVLT needs members of this community to log on to landismy.org and vote to help EVLT’s video submission win.  Titled “Land is My Connection, ” and submitted and created by local resident and videographer Ben Dodd and his team, EVLT’s submission features a local rancher, fly fishing guide and rock climber to help illustrate the importance of land and its connection to all of us, and what makes our land here in Eagle County particularly special.

“Voting is quick, easy, and critical to our success in this contest,” said Jim Daus. “With your vote, we have a chance at winning $10,000 which will all go toward supporting the protection and conservation of our most cherished places here in Eagle County. Please take a brief moment to visit landismy.org and vote for our submission. Ben and his team did a phenomenal job capturing what makes our home so special, and we hope that in addition to voting, you’ll take two minutes to enjoy what they’ve created.”

To vote, visit landismy.org, click on video gallery and vote for “Land is Our Connection,” submitted by Bed Dodd of Edwards, CO on behalf of EVLT. Links to vote are also available on evlt.org and on EVLT’s Facebook page. Each member of the public can vote just once, and voting ends November 17.
