SteamMasterGolf raised over $21,000 at its 12th annual event held in Valley Course, Cordillera in Edwards, Colorado. In the twelve years of organizing the charity golf tournament SteamMaster has raised just over $441,000.  Beneficiaries of this year’s tournament were, Vail Valley Charitable Fund, The Literacy Project, Eagle County Emergency Responders Fund and SpeakUp ReachOut

The Vail Valley Charitable Fund (VVCF) was created in 1996 to provide assistance to individuals who live and work in the Vail Valley who are experiencing a financial hardship due to a medical crisis or long-term illness. VVCF is a permanent recipient of SteamMasterGolf.

ECERF is organized exclusively for charitable, educational and community support purposes, including the making of distributions for such purposes to organizations that qualify as an exempt organization under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal. At this check giving event Eagle County Emergency Responders Fund was named as the permanent recipient

Tournament Administrator and CEO of SteamMaster, Raj Manickam together with his staff gave out proceed checks on January 13, 2017 to the beneficiaries. “Being an emergency responder for properties, we understand and appreciate the work done daily by the first responders of the valley”, Manickam said.

The Literacy Project of Eagle County helps adults and children acquire English reading and speaking skills to help them thrive in our community. Here in Eagle County, there are a surprising number of adults and children in need of literacy training to help them function more effectively in their lives. With the help of volunteers, the education community and our generous supporters, The Literacy Project helps to improve the life experiences of everyone participating. We credit our success to individualized, one-to-one tutoring from caring members of our community.

The Suicide Prevention Coalition of Eagle Valley is a group of individuals throughout Eagle County who are dedicated to providing suicide prevention education and resources for those in need. Our goals include reducing the number of suicides in our county, providing educational resources in our schools and community organizations, and to provide a comprehensive site for community resources. Their mission is: To prevent suicide in Eagle County by providing education, training, and hope.

SteamMaster Restoration and Cleaning celebrates its 39 years this year and pledges to continue and support small and medium size local non-profits via the tournament. Application to be added as a recipient must be sent to raj@steammaster.com
