Eat Chat Parent: Teens Taking the Wheel

Teens taking the wheel can feel like a harrowing experience, even to the most laid-back parent. To help keep them safe behind the wheel, join Eagle River Youth Coalition for its next Eat, Chat, Parent: Teens Taking the Wheel, Tips for Safe Driving.

The two-hour session will include the short film, Alive at 25, Driving Simulators, Goggle Booths (marijuana and alcohol), In and Out Driving School – graduated license rules and Eagle County info booth. This event is for both parents and teens ages 14 and up.

Students and their parents will have a chance to speak with experts including Megan Heil, Eagle County Sheriff’s Office SRO and Toby Baldwin, Town of Avon Police Dept.
