31st Sonnenalp Casual Classic Bike Ride

Event date: This event has already passed.

Check-in: 7:00 – 8:00 AM at the Sonnenalp Hotel.
Alternate Registration/Check-in: 8:45 AM in the Breckenridge Skier Parking lot.
RIDE: Starts in Breckenridge at 9:00 AM.
(Directions: I-70 to Exit 203. Follow Highway 9 to Breckenridge. Turn right on N. Park Ave. Turn left on Watson St. Skier parking lot is on right.)

OPTION: Riders interested in cycling both directions will meet at the Sonnenalp Hotel at 7:00 AM.
PARKING: Vail – Park in the free Vail Village Parking Structure (space will not be available at the hotel) / Breckenridge – Park in the free Skier Parking Lot

SHUTTLE: A shuttle to Breckenridge will leave at 8:00 AM from the Sonnenalp Hotel (across from FirstBank in Vail).
A shuttle service is available to the Vail Pass summit, If you prefer not to ride up the pass. A shuttle will be provided back to Breckenridge after the barbecue at the Bully Ranch. After the BBQ lunch, a 2pm and 3pm shuttle available back to Breckenridge.

The Bully Ranch Barbecue will go from 12-2:30 pm.

Ride from Breckenridge to Vail. Festivities at The Sonnenalp Hotel and Bully Ranch.

Please join us on Saturday, September 10th for the 31st Annual Sonnenalp Casual Classic Bike Ride from Breckenridge to Vail benefitting the Sonnenalp Foundation and ECO Trails.

EVENT DETAILS:

  • This is not a race! It’s a CASUAL ride, all paces and types of riders welcome!
  • 38 mile ride on paved trail from Breckenridge to Vail
  • Bus transport provided to and from Breckenridge by ECO Transit and CME
  • Breakfast at the Sonnenalp morning of the event
  • Refreshment aid stations along the route
  • Goody bags and door prizes!
  • Delicious gourmet lunch and beverages at the relaxing Bully Ranch in Vail at the finish
  • Silent Auction
  • Several options to ride both ways, part way, attend lunch only
  • Registration: $95 adults if registration received by September 9 / $45 Children 15 and under
