Hosted at the epicenter of Lionshead Village’s bustling summer scene, Vail Jazz @ Vail Square brings a high-energy lineup of jazz heavyweights to Vail’s hotspot for culture and entertainment. With a cold beverage and unbeatable views, this series has quickly become the Thursday night event of Vail’s summer music scene! Monty Alexander (piano), John Clayton (bass), and Jeff Hamilton (drums), widely considered to be among the greatest trios in jazz, have delivered the most tastefully elegant, swinging, and soul-stirring jazz for 40 years. Tickets may be purchased through our website, or by calling 970.479.6146.

Volunteer Opportunities

The Vail Jazz Festival brings over 60 performances and 200 artists to Vail each year! With such a busy summer, Vail Jazz relies on its volunteers, the Vail Jazz Ambassadors, to assist with a variety of responsibilities and ensure that the Festival runs smoothly. At Vail Jazz @ Vail Square, Ambassadors can work as stage crew, greeters, or ushers.
